ART YOKU Vol.9 Rutu Tobii Solo Exhibition BEPPU ONSEN IN STYLE (English follows)

2024年の別府市制100周年記念事業のひとつとして、今年2月にトビイ　ルツが、イラスト

と文章、デザインなどすべてを手がけたオリジナルアートブック『BEPPU ONSEN IN STYLE』。その中に収められたカラーイラスト原画18点を中心に、前期と後期に分けて作品を変えて展示。「スタイル」をテーマに、別府のバリエーション豊かな市営・共同温泉の魅力を、イラストと日・英2ヶ国語の解説文と共にご紹介します。会期中は作家本人も在廊し、アートブック他、オリジナル商品の販売を行います。

この個展は、別府に拠点を置くアートNPO団体BEPPU PROJECTが企画するシリーズイベント。別府を代表する市営温泉「竹瓦温泉」にて、毎月月替わりでアーティストの作品を紹介する『アート浴』の第9回目にあたります。

As one of Beppu City's 100th anniversary commemorative projects in 2024, Tobii’s original art book, BEPPU ONSEN IN STYLE was published this February. Tobii was involved in all aspects of the book, including the illustrations, text, and design. This exhibition will feature 18 original color illustrations from the book, with the artworks being changed between the first and second halves of the exhibition period. With the theme of "style," the exhibition introduces the diverse appeal of Beppu's municipal and communal hot springs through illustrations and bilingual (Japanese and English) explanatory text. The artist will also be present at the gallery during the exhibition period, selling art book and other original merchandise .
